BIOGRAPHY:
Guadalupe (Pita) Betancourt is a Spanish-English Interpreter, Spanish Teacher, Physical Health Instructor, Life and Wellness Coach, Mental Health and Nutrition Educator, Lecturer and Author.
Pita has worked directly with the Latino Community for 20 years in the USA. She has more than 30 years of experience working with clients individually and as a couple, and 20 years doing group therapies, specializing in Personal Improvement and Health.
She has worked in institutions such as Boys and Girls Club of Dundee Township, The Larkin Center, Elgin Police Department, YWCA, Children and Family Services (México), and Banking Institutions (México).
As a volunteer, she has participated in the American Red Cross education program for HIV (coach and trainer of trainers), and founded the theater group “Los Desarraigados” in Elgin, IL.
She studied Psychology in Mexico. It is continually updated in its work areas obtaining certifications, such as:

- Cooper Institute - Nutrition; NETA - Exercise Instructor (Yoga and Pilates)
